OUR MISSION

The goal of The Foundation for Nutrition and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Children (NIBD) is to foster research into the clinical significance of nutrition in the management of IBD, and to educate patients in the importance of adhering to a nutritional protocol that has now been well demonstrated to be extremely beneficial for the well being of juvenile IBD patients.

Support The Foundation for NIBD in our races to raise awareness about proper nutrition and juvenile IBD. This fall, Hitback Evolution Trainer and NIBD’s official triathlete and marathoner Ryan Jansen will be participating again in Marathons and Triathlons on the East Coast to help raise money for our clinical nutrition research.

Kathie will continue in this position and now has been appointed as the Scientific Administrator of the UCLA COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Clinical Research Response Team as well.
